Copenhagen, Denmark
Copenhagen is a lovely city with some amazing history dating back to the medieval period. My time was spent walking and shopping in Amagertorn Central Square, a pedestrian zone, that dates back to the medieval period. Stork Fountain there was constructed in 1894. In the 10th Century, Copenhagen was a Viking fishing village, and by the 15 Century, it became the capital of Denmark. It has become known for some pretty fascinating landmarks; Nyhavn Waterfront Canal, Tivoli Gardens, The Little Mermaid, Christiansborg Palaces, and Frederik’s Church, to only to name a few. Perhaps I will get to see more on my next visit.
