SYDNEY, NOVA SCOTIA

LIFESTYLE TRAVEL Vacation

Sydney, Nova Scotia is one of the three Maritime Provinces of Canada (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island), along the Atlantic coast. Sydney is home to the world’s largest Fiddle, a special attraction at the harbor. Walking through the neighborhood, we came upon Sydney’s oldest building, St. George’s Anglican Church, a historical landmark which dates to 1785, built in Gothic Revival style architecture. Then stopped for a moment to appreciate the culture and tradition of bagpiping. And before returning to the ship, I finally set down to a tantalizing bowl of clam chowder at the popular “Governor’s Pub and Eatery.” It was fantastic!!!
